Dr. med. dent. Gerd Frahsek finished dental school at Düsseldorf Unversity successfully in 1985.
Two years later he was granted the academic title „Dr. med. dent.“
After working as a dentist in the German Navy and in private clinics around Heidelberg for a couple of years n 1989 he opened his own private practice in Velbert Langenberg, in Germany.
Today, together with five other dentists and his team he is providing general and tooth preserving dentistry with a focus on digital technology. His aim is to improve dental health in his community through prevention and by preserving as much tissue and tooth structure as possible.
In 2000 he started to use CEREC and digital imaging, ten years later 3D imaging.
Since 2017 3D-Printing is used in his clinic.
For years he is lecturing on CAD/CAM (CEREC, inLab, 3D-Printing, ceramic materials) and 3D-Imaging including Integrated Implantology, guided Surgery and implant restorations in Germany, Europe, Middle East and Asia. He is the author of various articles regarding these topics.
